Four appointments, no surprises

Enquiry
Tell us the garment, the date and what you’d like changed. We’ll confirm an appointment and a realistic timeline.

First fitting
Bring your shoes and underwear. Everything is pinned on you, and you leave knowing the cost and the collection date.

Second & third fitting
We check the fit as the work progresses and adjust again. Most dresses need two fittings; restyling can need three.
04
Collection
Pressed, on a hanger and bagged, ready to travel. We can hold your dress in the studio until the week of the wedding.

We’re inside the Business Design Centre on Upper Street, next door to the Hilton two minutes from Angel station. Every visit is by appointment so your fitting is never rushed or shared.

When should I book my first fitting?
Most brides come in 6–8 weeks before the wedding. Earlier is fine if your dress has already arrived, and we take rush work when the diary allows.
How many fittings will I need?
Two for most dresses, three if the work is extensive or we’re restyling. Menswear is usually one fitting and a collection.
What should I bring?
Your shoes and the underwear you’ll wear on the day. The hem can’t be set without them. Bring your veil too if it needs shortening.
Can you alter a dress I bought online?
Yes, and we do it often. Bring it in as early as you can so we can tell you honestly what’s achievable before you commit.
Can I wear my mother's wedding dress?
Usually yes restyling an older gown is one of the things we’re known for. Sleeves, backs, necklines and silhouettes can all be changed.
How much will it cost?
Bridal alterations start from £360 and are quoted in full at your first fitting. Nothing is started until you’ve agreed the price.
